NORTH POLE faces vast swats of open water and broken ice packs, NOW

 ~Arctic Ocean sea ice melts  Near the North Pole despite the clouds.  

 Any favorable kinetic circulation, especially by air  can change this picture greatly:

  Vast Swats of Open water  at about near the Pole, JAXA university of Bremen, September 1 2026.  The vicinity of the Pole has very loose pack ice, demonstrably one of the worse sea ice conditions of this area, despite the clouds:

     CMC September 3 2026 visual, North Pole clouds didn't stop the melting of sea ice for 2 main reasons, sea ice is over all thinner and the Oceans are much much warmer:

             A strong El-Nino, the Great North Pacific sea ice temperature warming blob, North Atlantic warmed, all contribute to more moisture to the air,  meaning more cloud/fog once moved over the Arctic ocean,   despite all this we have:

RADARSAT September 3 , North Pole is further down from centre of picture.  

    There is about 3 weeks left  to Arctic Sea ice Minima extent numbers, they may show again, or portray the image of stability,  that there is no Great melt in progress, but that is an illusion,  sea ice thickness is what matters.

Unfortunately Piomass stopped reporting  total sea ice volume last spring, however it was at an all time low number.  

  These are the final days of a rich , robust thick summer Polar sea ice,  the period of record low sea ice thickness are equally numbered, the leading up to no summer sea ice at all continues on its  gradual path as  cloud extent persists  WD Sep 3 2026.
